Pixel Guard Prerequisites

• Pixel Guard solution is only supported for Google Ads.
• Pixel Guard does not support protecting campaigns where optimized conversion is set to pageview. URL based conversion events will not be blocked on a user’s first page view.
• CHEQ tag is advised to be implemented directly on the website, if this is not the case – its priority must be before the marketing tag.
• Pixel guard support Google Ads events embedded by any tag manager (Google Tag Manager, Adobe Dynamic Tag Management, etc.) or direct on the page. We highly recommend to have the CHEQ Essentials tag implemented directly on the website when using Pixel Guard.
• Your Bidding Strategy should be Conversion-based.
• Your Conversion Source should be Website.
• Verify that the CHEQ Essentials tag fires before the Google Ads tag.
